Mission:

The Albuquerque Public Schools Police Department exists for the purpose of providing police and security services to the public schools.

The primary focus is directed toward assisting the school principal in providing a safe and secure educational climate on the school campus during school hours.

The department also directs its energies toward the protection of school property and those who occupy it on a twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week basis.

Black & Whites now on Patrol

APS Police cars have a new look this year. Black and White APS police cars will be patrolling the district, keeping our students safe and responding to calls for service.

Congratulations to Officers Eddie Sandoval and Mickey Lozano. They both completed the NM Law Enforcement Academy in November.
